Tory's report of the LA picket this weekend is pretty comprehensive, so I'll just say a teeny bit.
I saw a white windowless van stop across the street from teh Life Exhibit. About 10 people poured out of the back and went into the Scientology building. I went across and peeked into the back and there were no seats! All those people had been sitting on the van floor. I had seen this in Clearwater too when about 10 people piled out the back of a van at the cafeteria. When they left they were driven over to the new Osceola apartments being worked on. I assumed that they were RPFers. I wonder whether this is illegal for a church to be transporting people in this way?
The LA picket was very nice, and I thank the critics there for
inviting me :) It was nice to see the Scientologists mostly ignoring
us and certainly not confronting, pushing, taunting, or otherwise
harassing us as I'm used to. Perhaps we are teaching them to act
civilly?
