This is what I put up:

Though I never met Jim in person, I interacted with him over the phone and in email so much that I considered him a good friend.

[Much of this was about the amazing agent of the cult who worked at CAN, Jolie Steckart.]

Besides jazz he was well known for his work at the Cult Awareness Network before that resource was destroyed by one of the cults they often were consulted about.

Jim was still active on the net less than a month ago so his passing comes as a shock in spite of his poor physical condition being known to his friends.

He will be missed.
