My thanks to the folks discussing the Super Power building on a recent thread. Someone (I THINK the first mention was from Cerridwen) suggested that there may be liens on the property that are preventing any further construction on the building.
I popped over to the free, public Florida databases to see what I could find. My results are here:
http://www.scientology-lies.com/liens/
which links to lists of liens and satisfactions, plus separate, longer lists of all documents (including deed transfers and so on).
There do appear to be a handful of unsatisfied liens against CoS.
It's entirely possible that the Super Power building is being built using a corporate name or entity I didn't think of, so if you've got any suggestions of other phrases to search on, please let me know (or do the search yourself).
The page has links to the appropriate Florida databases, so the curious can search to their hearts' content.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions, and feedback are always, of course,
welcome.
I can't get no satisfaction,
Kristi

I think $cientology is hurting people and breaking the law, and I want them to stop it. See http://www.scientology-lies.com for more.
