Supposing that the closure of this facility removes the prospect of treatment for sufferers of psychiatric illnesses: where are they going to go to receive treatment?
Where will someone suffering from schizophrenia be able to receive medication and/or care? Where will they end up if there is no care available for them? Will you be averting your eyes and brushing them aside when they're living under flyovers and in doorways, begging for money for food or alcohol, or will you - with your campaigning to stamp out what you perceive as injustice in the psychiatric sector - actually be DOING anything beyond carping from the sidelines to help these people.
Or perhaps you consider that, with your little victory against psychiatry, your job is done, and the fate of those who actually have to *live* with chronic and debilitating mental illness is no longer any concern of yours?
