What a bizarre display of insanity. Barely a year ago the Scientology cult had Tory Bezazian in What is Scientology? as a selling point about why you'd want to join the cult.
Practically before the ink is dry on another promo piece with her in it, she's blown and found she likes it that way.
Now, today, insane cowardly criminals endlessly spread baseless smears and degraded dead-agenting about her every single day, in a flagrant act of insanity, decrying her in every possible way, even though in virtually every public library with a cult center within a hundred miles of it, there's a copy of What is Scientology? with her in it.
You think they would (if they had the IQ of a fermented turnip) realize that trashing someone they used as a poster child a little over a year ago would be INSULTING THEMSELVES and declaring THEMSELVES to be incredible morons.
Because if everything they are saying about her today is true, then they were, by their own words, using this supposed total idiot loser etc etc etc as a poster child just last year.
Of course it's all lies and even the liars know it. To meet Tory is to like her, and (sane wog) people who had met her even in the context of a "picket handler" liked her when she was a representative of "the enemy."
The only people who hate her guts are the people who are desperately jealous of her regained freedom. They viciously and slanderously attack in a desperate frenzy because not to do so would be to admit that what they secretly want is to be like her--free, and out of the crime cult.

For those of you who have the 1992 hardcover edition of WIS, her picture is on page 258. Here's her testimonial:
--------------------------------------------------
As a child I had everything - wonderful parents, a beautiful home, a terrific life. Then my parents moved when I was a teenager and I snapped. We quit communicating and I spent years rebelling against them. We were so out of touch by 1969 it was unbelievable. I was on a quest to find out why I felt the way I did. In 1969 I read the book Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard and that day my life changed. I started the Communications Course and immediately understood how to solve the problem with my parents. I went from a rebellious individual trying to hurt my parents to a very happy person. I am now in terrific communication with my parents. I have handled the problems that held me down so I don't have to pass them on to my son. I am successful at whatever I do and I find life just gets better and better.-------------------------------------------------- Sounds pretty good, right? In Scientology for 30 years, fourteenth testimonial (out of 84 attributed to verifiable persons, not just initials). So you might have cause to wonder just why Tory, after so long in Scientology, and after being featured in a Scientology recruitment/advertising publication, is now a declared SP? And are these people on alt.religion.scientology who keep denouncing her as a horrible person really right about her?Tory Bezazian, Mother
It strikes me there's two ways this could have happened... (I know I'm repeating what some people have already said.)
First, Tory could really be a horrible person. But if this is true, then in all likelihood she was so suppressive all through her Scientology membership, and the Scientology organization didn't mind using a person like her to advertise the benefits of an L. Ron Hubbard-brand way of life.
Second, Tory could really be a nice person. But if this is true, then why is she now a declared Suppressive Person? I was under the impression that only really depraved, evil people got declared. What kind of organization is Scientology that it would declare a person like Tory as an SP?
Really now, what do you think is more likely? Can you think up any better explanation?
