How interesting. No matter what you may think of MSH, she was
in fact LRH's wife and played a major roll in the establishment and
expansion of Scn.
For DM to allow her death to go without any notice or memorial service is bad enough but then they add insult to injury by making her "disappear" from the IAS Patrons list.
Go to the Scn website and put in the name Mary Sue Hubbard. You won't get any hits on her name.
I don't know how current Scientologists can justify this behavior. In Scientologese, what they are doing is "alter-ising" the facts. In the real world they are pretending things that happened didn't happen and try to remove any physical evidence in an effort to cover up the truth.
My guess is there is an already established "right answer" for anyone that does ask about MSH. They are probably told that she was a very private person and she requested that no fanfare be made of her death. Of course that would have to be the end of it and if you questioned it or discussed your questions with others, you'd find your ass sitting in a chair in the ethics office.
I suppose I would have bought that line of bullshit too, if I were still in and thinking in Scn mindset. I can't tell you how thankful that I'm not.

While reading this thread it occured to me that one reason people who were in Scn may not want to speak out is because many of them were involved in "fienish activities" or at least activites that they now consider quite awful and they are embarassed that they took part in it.
I think it's a lot easier for people to look at what was done to them rather than what they did to others.
Most people that leave Scn and then write a "my story" talk about what victims they were. Hardly anyone comes and talks about the things they did to others that they are ashamed and embarassed about. The only one that I can think of is Deo. He at least has publicly told of shitty things he did to others and showed remorse and regret for it. Every other ex comes here and talks about what was done to them. And for the size of this group, I'm truly surprised how few Ex's post here at all.
I look at the indoctrination as a really insidious tool that is presently *unwittingly* used by the Church. I say unwittingly because the perpertrators are also the victims of the insane Scn indoctrination. So while I realize that I was "victimized" by a cult, I also consider myself as one of the guilty ones that dished out a considerable amount of "entheta" to a lot of "spiritual beings" and smugly thought I was doing it for the "greatest good". Afterall, I was an adherent of KSW and when that policy is applied you do all kinds of stuff that you would never do if you were in your right mind.
My point is, MSH was not just a "fiend" but she was also a woman who like myself followed LRH without question for a very long time. And while she was one of the many that was responsible for forwarding the insanity, she like all of us, was a victim of the indoctrination.

I think she was a fucked up piece of shit for participating in operations to ruin people, drive them insane, have them arrested for manufactured crimes, etc. as she did to Paulette Cooper. Mary Sue was EVIL.

Mary Sue Hubbard's birth in all three(link) instances checks out as being the same day&year: 6-17-1931. The alt.clearing.technology post draws it's citation from the milamb31.txt folder. All one has to do to check this is follow the string at each point down to the milamb31.txt file but it's 'cut' in the above ACT link, leaving it dead: snip> http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/tx/milam/vitals/births/1931/mila...
Again the working string: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/tx/milam/vitals/births/1931/milamb31.txt
Mary Sue Hubbard must have died then on 25 NOV 2002. I'd call that a definite..
And no public announcement from DM to his 'flock' after almost three years! What a complete fucking asshole, where any future discussion of his possibly not being one has now been dismantled, for good.
EVERY Scientologist should be made aware of Mary Sue Hubbard's death and the fact that it was kept from them, by not being publicly announced.
That could be the watershed..
Lermanet and xenu.net should jump on it with their own page announcements once their sources verify MS Hubbard's death to their satisfaction. Think about it Arnie! That's front page news with DM deserving a penciled in mustache as the .jpg insert over the spread..
Thanks for the info Chuck! And thanks for your SO insider reports! I didn't reply to your recent compliment (NYT article) because I'm allergic to "high 5ing" in general, as followup. I don't expect them, and I don't give em. I actually like it that way. Call it a personal quirk if you must. But thanks anyway! I appreciate it. And a belated welcome aboard to ARS!

Perhaps he still has bad nightmares about being pounded with an ashtray?
"Miscavige said that although he lived for a time in the complex with Mary Sue Hubbard and her staff, he knew nothing about their covert activities. After learning about the crimes committed by the Guardian's Office, Miscavige and colleagues decided they would have to bring it under the control of the main church, he said. They devised a plan in which trusted teams of Scientologists would fan out to various Guardian's offices worldwide, poised to await word that Mary Sue Hubbard had resigned as head of that branch.
"Miscavige told the court that his mission was to get Hubbard's wife to quit. When they confronted each other in a Los Angeles hotel room, Mary Sue Hubbard called him "some pretty nasty names" and held a large ashtray close to his face. But he persuaded her it was futile to hang on to power."
That ashtray must have still bothered him if he mentioned it in court.

What about tapes and such where her name is mentioned? Quietly sliced out of existance? (Of course, some are sliced because of Elron's howling lunacy too):
: > 6709C20--Spec lect--Ron's journal 67. PA 366-842.
According to Atack, RJ67 is about the great conspiracy (the reference "50" refers to RJ67):
However, almost ten years before the raid on the GO, Hubbard recorded a lecture which is still sold by Scientology organizations.(50) Having complained that a huge international conspiracy existed against him, Hubbard said, "With all of this action being taken against us in the last 17 years ... it was vitally necessary that I isolate who it was on this planet who was attacking us
...
The Organization, under the direction of Mary Sue [Hubbard], ... employed several professional intelligence agents who had long and successful professional backgrounds and they looked into this matter for us and the results of their activities - although still in progress - have told us all we needed to know with regard to any enemy we had on this planet. Our enemies on this planet are less than 12 men. They are members of the Bank of England, and other higher financial circles. They own and control newspaper chains and they are oddly enough directors in all the Mental Health groups in the world ... Wilson ... the current premier of England [sic, should be Britain] is totally involved with these fellows ... They have collected rather interesting files on us ... and their orders concerning what to do about this as part of their files all makes very interesting reading. We of course have full copies of their files. It was, of course, their bad luck to tangle with someone who had been trained in the field of intelligence by the allied governments, which is myself, and they had insufficient security and insufficient loyalty amongst their own people to keep out the intelligence agents which we sent against them."
