Buffalo City Hall arithmetic? According to a Dec. 11 News story by Brian Meyer, the city had property it wanted to purchase appraised at $425,000. The seller, the Church of Scientology, had the property appraised at $650,000. The city shrewdly purchased the property for $740,000.
With that kind of hardball bargaining, what will the Sabres cost us?
