Something I would like to see is a loose-knit association of ex-Scientologists designed to help each other. This would NOT be a formal organization but rather a group connected by email and occasional meetings. I'd call it Survivors of Scientology and have as its goal the mutual aid and support of all its members.
Such a group would help people who have left reintegrate into the "wog world" and understand what happened to them in the cult. It might help get refunds from advanced payments not returned. It could point those in need to counselors with cult related training. It could provide an instant social network for those just leaving Scientology.
I would see that such a group kept extremely focused on this narrow goal of helping ex-members deal with life's problems and to support one another. I would write a very simple charter that said as such.
I would set up an internet mailing list and a web site to provide information about upcoming meetings, needs, resources, and successes.
Such a gorup would be run by consensus and not be a hierarchical group in any way.
Such a group would assume that infiltration will occur and simply be open enough to allow that to happen.
But then, it's just a dream of mine. I'm only a wog so I couldn't even participate in such a thing.
