Hubbard, in coining the term "ninth dynamic", defined it as *the buck*.
Apparently he voiced this -- his reality -- during one of his *truthful* moments.
He said that the "eighth dynamic" was the "god dynamic" or "infinity".
Hubbard said (on taped lectures) and wrote in his policies, books and bulletins that the "ninth dynamic" is a higher "dynamic" than the "eighth dynamic".
During my almost eight years in the Sea Org, God was mentioned perhaps a couple of times by staff members like Jim Bird and John Richards.
They, along with this author, are no longer adherents of the money "religion" -- Scientology. That's because it made us "PTSes" ("potential trouble sources") to worship God because Hubbard is the almighty "SOURCE"
in Scientology.
In other words, _Hubbard_ is viewed as the truth, the light and the way, by Scientologists.
Those joining Scientology are expected to cease practicing any other practice or any other religion. Yet, the opposite is told to prospective members (called "raw meat" and/or "WOGS").
Hubbard -- the "old man" -- "Commodore" -- "R" ... THE *BIG* "OT"...
"SOURCE" !!!!
While studying Hubbard I can think of only one instance in which the word god was used: in his _Dianetics and Scientology Technical Dictionary_, page 129, the definition of which is given above.
On the other hand, terms such as:
"MONEY", "cash", or "C"
"Cash on hand versus Bills owing", or "C/B spread"
"check", "gross income", or "GI"
"corrected gross income", or "CGI"
"reserves"
"value of inventoried stock", or VIS"
"Sea Org Reserves", or "SOR"
"paid completion(s)", or "Pd Comps"
"value of service delivered", or "VSD"
"advanced payment(s) received", or "APR"
"prepayment(s) received", or "PPR"
"advanced payment(s) used", or "APU"
"bounced check(s)", or "BCk"
"credit collection(s)", or "CC"
"credit collected", or "CC"
"return of advance payment(s)", or "RAP(s)"
"money in the bank", "verified income", "money in the shop", "freeloader debt(s)"
"freeloader debt collections"
The abbreviations given above are the actual abbreviations used by *ALL* Scientology organizations in their hourly, daily and weekly "stat" reports to senior Scientology management. The report which was telexed to Flag weekly was called the OIC Cable.
Heck, I even saw an "Ethics Order" assigning a fellow named Rick Shelley a lower condition for reporting the org's stats and hour late to Scientology management. He was said to be guilty of the *offense* of "puttting Dev-T on upper [Scientology] management's plate".
It's a good thing Rick wasn't a few hours late! I've seen staff sent to the RPF for far lesser "offenses".
One lady (Elaine S-------) was sent to the RPF for supposedly having had a sexual affair with a "wog" (a "psych" at that!) while on her annual 3-week leave of absence (vacation) from the Sea Org.
Getting back to finance...
When a member was being audited by the IRS over his/her fees paid to Scientology, the "public person" being audited was never given a copy of his actual *SCIENTOLOGY ACCOUNTS STATEMENT*.
This was expressedly forbidden by Scientology management. It would have been a serious offense to have given a member a photocopy of his *ACCOUNTS STATEMENT* to hand over to the IRS.
Instead, a letter on the "org's" stationery was typed. The stationery had a Scientology cross and the words "The Church [sic] of Scientology of California". A precise wording of the letter for the member's submission to the IRS was mandated by management. It was to state the amount of the member's "donations" to Scientology.
Scientology demanded I spend *years* learning about finance.
The "Scientology Minister's Course" took about *one* week of part-time study (at two and one-half hours per day maximum).
Scientology stressed money over spiritual concerns.
