Scientology has also repeatedly attempted to get to the firemen and policemen who work at Ground Zero by leaving their literature at the Church next to the site, where the workers get free food and supplies.

I was doing some volunteer work there and I saw that there was Scientology literature there. There is a nun who is there most of the time, "doing God's work" there she told me.

I asked her about the Scientology literature. She explained that she frequently finds it there, and she doesn't know how it gets there. (Presumably, Sci has one of their people give it to one of those using the Church who leaves it there.) She told me that whenever she finds it, she throws it away. And with that, she picked up the leaflets and tossed them.

"You're doing God's work more than you realize," I said to her.
