I caught this in midstream, and presumably from a re-run, so I'm surprised nobody commented on it already. (I suppose it's possible this is recent.)
There was a completely certifiable paranoid schizophrenic on Stern from about 8:15 to 8:30 calling in and ranting about a number of things, including Scientology. She said her name was "Mira" or something similar, and that she was a taxi driver. (Taxi driver with paranoid delusions--bad profile.)
Additionally, she claimed to be the real wife of Steven Segal, and to have been originally cloned by Scientologists! She stated that her parents worked for the Nazis, and among other things, that Sharon Stone was the wife of Josef Goebbels in a past life. Additionally, she claimed that Kelly LeBrock was not really Steven Segal's wife, and that the Kelly LeBrock on the Chanel No. 5 ads (in New York?) were really a clone, or else that they kept the real Kelly LeBrock in some kind of prison and only brought her out for the occasional ad.
Also that when Steven Segal seems to gain weight, that it is really other people moving in and out of his body. She claimed the Scientologists had kidnapped her, that her parents weren't her real parents (but instead Nazi war criminals), and that they had done cloning experiments on her, by cloning her astral body or something similar. She ranted about Eastern religion and something called "skinwalking" (which sounds like I might have heard it on the X-Files, and I believe is some sort of metempsychosis of a soul travelling at will from one body to another).
Basically, this woman was completely and utterly bonkers. Then another woman, called "Sally," called in and claimed to know about this "Mira" madwoman, and that she had information on her, and that she had faxed it to a security firm that handles casting companies (in LA or in New York?), and that this odd person was already in their database for extremely bizarre behavior and was considered a possible threat. Apparently she goes around to casting calls and gives them an incredibly bizarre "resume" consisting of her conspiracy theories about Sharon Stone and other Hollywood personalities, and that naturally this doesn't result in getting any jobs.
Stern was naturally playing a few appropriate sound effects (such as a cuckoo clock) during this intensely bizarre and paranoid screed, and the woman named "Sally" tried to convince "Mira" to seek psychiatric assistance immediately.
So did Stern in between humoring her and talking to Robin about whether or not this was something they should do something about or whether they could somehow help this nut.
Recurrent accusations about various people was that they were Nazi war criminals in past lives, that the reason everyone was "enturbulated" about her call was that her information was true, that Scientology says that what appears to be true is true (sounds like a wonky take on "What's true is what's true for you" indicating *some* kind of association with Scientology). There were also a few disconnected remarks about John Travolta and Juliette Lewis.
She also claimed that Scientologists and various other unnamed parties were trying to kill her, and that's about as much as I can remember.
In any case, the woman sounded seriously disturbed and potentially a threat, and had decided that "Sally" and even Howard were probably part of the conspiracy out to get her by the end of the call, when this insanity finally ended.
This sounded like a rerun, but this person does sound like a serious potential menace and should be looked into. Supposedly "Sally" has informed a security company that handles casting calls to keep an eye out for this woman and faxed them some sort of dossier, so presumably the threat is contained.
I have no specifics on this, except that IMO this woman is completely insane and possibly a menace. (Possibly completely harmless, but I'm not qualified to say.) OSA probably already knows about this, or I would assume they do. (For all I know it's an op to make Scn critics look crazy, though this woman sounded genuinely insane and not like a fake loon.)
Again, I think this was a re-run and I'm not sure from when, but I'm surprised it wasn't posted already if it was a re-run.
