For the people who do not yet know, I work as a journalist not only for [German] magazines such as "Stern" and "Spiegel," but also for broadcasters like ARD. As I have now learned, this extensive OSA Scientology operation has been running against me for several years, at the least since 1997, when my Helnwein book appeared, that was also described in Stern in detail.

Several Scientology agents are assigned to me and are looking at my personal and business environments in order to obtain as much information about me as possible which Scientology, so the organization hoped, would be able to use against me. That was their intention as early as 1996: several months before the publication of my book about the Scientologist, Helnwein, in 1997, my office was broken into two times. The perpetrators have still not been caught. As of today I have been charged more than a dozen times by various investigative agencies, most of them on anonymous tips, of having committed "crimes." Those range from tax evasion to breach of trust, from fraud to slander, from theft to bribery and so on and so forth. Because of my proven innocence, all proceedings against me were dropped, but some of them after months of investigations!

In particular, in 1999 an ARD-SWR radio reporter took a stand against me, mind you, it was one of my fellow journalists in his own station! Not only did he slander me with rotten lies to the producer I contracted with for my film "Missing in Happy Valley" about Scientology's penal camps, this man then repeatedly brought charges against me, once at the Mannheim district attorney's office, another time with the Mannheim revenue agents, and that with material constructed and counterfeited by OSA (shades of Paulette Cooper), which he had obtained from Scientology's intelligence agency boss Kurt Weiland in advance in Los Angeles.

As you can see, not only does Scientology have a great influence on politicians in the USA, but also "Green" politicians in particular in Germany, and German journalists let themselves be used as tools for Scientology to shut off "enemies" of the organization, mainly by discrediting them. Scientology has gotten medium well-known artists to rail publicly against me in diverse media, like, for example, multi-paged articles about and against me were launched in the "NEWS" new magazine in Austria, (what would the Austrian audience care about a German journalist) etc, etc...

How far have things gone in Germany when even an ARD television director of the HR in the year 2000 lets himself be interviewed by Scientologists and gives out information so that I can be slandered?

Perhaps these events will jog somebody's memory in the dull everyday routine of scandal. Anybody who has more information, please let me know!

The vehicle out of which Sommerfeld was operating was a rental car which had been rented from the company Pxxxxx-Rxxxx Gxxxx at the xxxxxx Gxxxxx rental car company in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Taufkirchen. Sommerfeld was driving the vehicle as an employee of the Pxxxxxx-Rxxxx company. The Weilheim criminal police investigated further, it was under their jurisdiction since the Pxxxxx-Rxxxxxx had its offices in xxxxxxxx, which is part of Weilheim/Upper Bavaria. At the end of March 1999, they shared the results of their research with the Munich state criminal investigative office and the Mannheim police: there was evidence that connections existed/exist between the Scientology organization and Sommerfeld's employer at the time, the Pxxxxxxxx-Rxxxxxxx company in xxxxxxxx. When asked by the Munich police, though, Sommerfeld replied that he had some experience with one of Hubbard's books "Die Stufen des Lernens" in the scope of his education to become a teacher, but that "I am not a Scientologist and I don't know any Scientologists." The investigations have come to a standstill.
