Today I spoke to a relative of an OT who after many years on the OT levels
ended up in a psych ward but that OT is not alone I spoke to another one who
just got out.
Since I left the church in 1999 I have spoken to two OT's who ended up in psych hospitals and believe me the OSA files have many more OT's who have ended up in psych hospitals.
So when you CCHR guys post your information about how dangerious psych's are remember that they are not the only dangerious ones on the block. Your own founder LRH had vistaril in his blood upon his death not to mention the 10 injections marks on his butt.
Vistaril (hydroxyline hydrochloride): Used for- 1. The acutely disturbed or hysterical patient 2. The acute or chronic alcoholic with anxiety Dosage and Administration For adult psychiatric and emotional emergencies, including acute alcoholism.
Now in 2001 Vistaril is primarily described as an antihistamine..
Good night,
Greg
{Zorr};
After a mental collapse from doing OT 7 many years ago, I can completely understand why aspiring 'bridge OT's' sooner or later become mental candidates for a 'long rest' sojourn at the mental ward, or taking lots of *no noise down time* by the sanitarium 'lawn' as steps to help in recovery from induced insanity the OT levels actually deliver, which, in essence comes about by the individual trying to create (mock-up) LRH's OT fiction personality as themselves by 'agreement' steps to his 'tech' in trying to un-do (as-is) one's human self for the fictitious OT one. That desire for the fictitious OT state, which one believes at the time of doing the OT levels as the MOST desirable state, actually creates an unknown split personality that eventually leads the OT aspirant to a mental collapse between their created OT phoney one vs. their subsumed real one which becomes repressed in the 'OT's' attempts at un-doing his basic real self for the desired OT one.. The real self sooner or later wins the battle for control by causing a mental breakdown for the release and destruction of the phoney one; (OT). This natural destruction of the phoney OT self is healthy and beneficial in the long-run, but can seem terrifying at the time the collapse is taking place because it seems all hell is breaking loose in one's body and mind.. This split-personality cult mind crash when happening is cause enough for the individual to 'retire' for some time in order to mentally heal from this induced insanity the OT levels actually delivers.
Don't forget scientology bridge 'OT's who contracted heart disease and Cancer during and after doing their scientology 'OT' levels. Below is my own 'heart condition' story after doing OT 7, as well as an excellent follow-up post from Phil Scott relating his own experiences.
It's my belief that serious physical ailments can manifest as a direct result in trying to create a bogus secondary personality (OT) which represses in the process of that creation ones real personality. That 'split' self creates LIVING HELL in the end. Caveat Emptor!...........
Long live the non-contradictory real self! Long live WOGS!
Re: Phil Scott;;
I had a very similar experience...getting worse as I became more involved, and not noticeable until after OT3 I believe...but i really dont recall the time sequence that well. With me there were other factors. Primarily the engineering business which has now been show to create heart attacks in engineers including young engineers via a mechanism now called 'heart shredding'...and that term rings accurate to me. the egotistical stress to keep ones professional credibilty by always being right actually *shreds the heart muscle. so it looks fine on scans because blockage of the arteries, the usual cause, is not present. But the guy dies of what has recently been called shredding of the heart muscle.
The cults ruthless attempts to control a person as you mention above
also causes the same stress in many people I am sure.
The other issue is age and the gradual blocking of the ateries with
calcium / cholesterol substances, As this approaches 90% blockage
or so around age 40 to 50 for a very high percentage of people, the
heart is starved for oxygen, especially under stress, and the heart
goes into fibrilation and the person dies.
the first symptom in 50% of the cases is guess what? Sudden death.
On the lucky have chest pains as warnings first.
Solution: Chelation therapy. EDTA acid is dipped into your arm for 3 or so over a 20 to 30 treatment regimine and this disolves these placques...a total miracle. Very common in europe but ridiculed as a treatment in the USA (until the 1992 Stanford University report said it worked better than a bypass and handled the entire system not just a blockage or two),,,,, most cardiologists still ridicule it. But the AMA's preventive medicine doctors use it and its available ($100 a treatment usually in the US...$60 in mexico).
Statistic... autopsies on a few hundred Korean war casualties, guys in
their 20's showed already significant obstructions in the coronary
arteries. Its the 80% leading cause of death in the USA. (our
processed food diet among other things)... The Japanese do not suffer
so nor do the Italians.
A life saving tip: If you hyperventilate a bit before a heavy
stress event such as climbing 3 or 4 flights of stiars you over
oxygenate your blood so the little that gets through to your heart
muscle is suffient...you will be less likely to have chest pain or a
heart attack. Keep hyperventilating all through the exercise.
Another life saving tip... for bad chest pains. Thin your blood
fast... two beers, two asprin chewed up, 3000 mg of vitamin E, a few
garlic capsules, 180 mg of ginko billoba will do an instant miracle
for you (but increase the chance of a stroke do the thinner
blood.).. lay down with our legs elevated and breath deeply to over
oxygenate your blood. If chest pains do not dissipate in a short
while or worsen get your ass to an emergency room.... if its that bad
you also need to have some nitroglycerine on hand as well.
On an ongoing basis drink 60 to 80 oz of water a day to keep the blood thin, take vitamins, ginko, and an asprin tablet a day....get chelated. This will revive the near totally dead in all cases except a person with total blockages...they need a bypasss or whater since blood flow is required with the other approaches and with a blockage there is no flow.
My history...at age 35, going through hell with Skip Herling, suppressive MAA at ASHO and doing power an OT levels in LA I worked up such a bad heart condition that I could only be out of bed 2 or 3 hours a day.
Now 25 years later, out of the cult for for the last 15 years, and having done extensive treatment as outlined above I can work 10 to12 hour days with tools, hard, in the sun, and not have chest pain or weakness...(unless I eat blood thickening greasy foods, that can be a problem).
Age also leads to homonal changes that lead to increased coronary blockages. A hormone panel blood test is required along with a world class preventive medicine physician. The you get that corrected...a very wonderful extension to ones life and energy. For women the need is near or after menopause, for men testing around age 45 or 50 is a good idea if there is any exhaustion or tiredness.
Arnie Lerma also tipped me to a few things, such as adding a little
hydrogen peroxide to the drinking water and eating fresh vegitables
stored in the sun for while before eating. ( More oxygenation issues
you see)
Finally. I found that as I targeted to become a decent and truthful
person, life began to go quite wonderfully better for me... the lower
stress reduced arterial placque formation as well, along with heart
shredding levels of stress. Decency apparently is not an option for
the majority who wish a long healthy life... some careers make that
difficult. Maybe they are bad choices.
Live long and prosper, Phil Scott

A prominent chicago area scientologist this past year has reportedly attempted
suicide three times and was hospitalized. The reports are that this individual
has done the OT courses and is disturbed by 'Body Thetans (BTs).
The wonder is that anyone gets through the OT courses and retains his or her sanity. Sitting in a little room, day after day, with an E-meter and trying to contact, telepathically, the spirits of dead aliens (Body thetans) is a ticket to madness.
Much more should be done to educate people as to what is actually on the OT courses.
