In 1996 I never would have thought that I would be one day delighted to have been denied access to a Scientology level that I was told I really needed.

Now I am delighted to have had my eligibilty pulled on the matter of doing the "new" (non-LRH) "Certainty Course"

training method on the recalled OT7 retrain-re-pay route.

All ot8s and 7s had to go back down the Bridge and retrain etc at their own expense.

It was a blessing in disguise in this particular instance.

I had been in close contact with my "OT" friends for years, having extensive conversations with them while waiting day-after-day in HGCs for endless C/S approvals, FES'ing, D of P interviews etc..........(LONG TIMES WAITING!!) In addition I also knew many many "OT" friends by having visited them at their homes in several countries and visiting the local orgs and missions while on tour with my art shows.

I was in a unique position to see hundreds of "OTs" in their HGC AND their home environments. We had many interesting discussions on many subjects, including on Scientology itself.

In the period following the release of the "Certainty Courses"

training style I was shown, at a Flag event, a video of the training method recently devised "to ensure 100% flubless auditors". There was a young girl, a pre-teen, drilling a middle aged man on the new techniques. This was supposed to show that even a kid could drill anyone on this "Certainty Tech".

The drilling was like some kind of Pavlovian conditioning with the man going through a process patter and the kid flunking him for any slightest error and referring him to the exact LRH materials. There was NO 2WC or originations permitted. Just "verbatim patter or flunk". Pain of flunk=need for LRH datum. Over and over, totally de-humanised and very very psych-like conditioning. The drills such as this, apparently, go on for hours and hours, and even for days till the "auditor-student" (conditionee) no longer has any thought of their own about the patter, but only think in LRH text terms 100%. No self-determined thought whatever is left in the ideal scene of this drilling. Not a joke!

Flubless other-determined thought!

The result that I observed on my friends who were on course doing these drills, when I spoke to them on many many occasions in the Sancastle dining room was that they were dumbing-down significantly and later on were no longer able to hold a conversation about anything that we had spoken about before. It was very dismaying and disconcerting to see them lowering in awareness and vivacity to marked degree.

It was as if they were hypnotized or tranced and un-thinking.

They were quietly "nuts."

This was one of the reasons I eventually left the cult.

I would love to see my friends released from this hypnotic bondage to DMs new squirrely tech.

If not, then "O.T" will only come to mean "Out-of Touch"

with reality, or O. (zero) T.hinking droids for all concerned.

My friends deserve to be freed from such oppression in the name of freedom.

I wish them their future release from the hold of the squirrels.

But I suppose that squirrels will always try to accumulate nuts. Michael.
