PADGETT LITIGATION UPDATE 49 --------------------------------------------------

Case No. 98-CR-0067

On November 1, 2004, Amelia Zachary, attorney for the defendant, and David Massamore, prosecutor and neighbor of scientologist Laura Vannoy, entered into an agreed order acknowledging that Tom Padgett was "overpaid in child support" dating back since May 9, 2000.

Said order of the court directed the Hopkins Clerk of Court to issue a refund check to benefactors in the amount of eleven thousand eight hundred dollars ($11,835.95). Judge Charles W. Boteler altered the agreed order by crossing out a portion that noted any accrued interest from just sitting in the court's coffers for four and a half years.

Tom Padgett has repeatedly requested Scientology's Boston Office of Special Affairs Director Frank Ofman to retract his "deadbeat dad" attacks which appeared publicly in a Massachusetts newspaper. To date, Ofman has remained silent on his intentional Black PR slander of Padgett, a declared SP enemy by the cult.
