Disturbing News!!! An order was entered into the Hopkins Circuit Court in Kentucky on January 23, 2002, requiring the Respondent, Thomas Padgett of Massachusetts, to produce documentation and information of non-parties and 3rd parties to Laura Padgett's nine and half (9 1/2) year civil litigation against her ex, a declared enemy of Scientology by church officials. Said Order was titled "Request for Additional Information." In very liberal language, this court document states that both parties must answer questions and produce supporting documentation, however it used more specific directions in the requests of information from Tom Padgett of parties not name in the litigation, best defined as "interested" parties. It requests names and cancelled checks from doners, supporters, trusts, and contributors. Tom's lawyer will file exceptions to the Order on the following grounds: a. This is blatant abusive discovery b. This is unfair and one-sided - unilateral rather than normal routine bilateral disclosure c. It causes further delays in a final ruling d. It breaches the confidentiality of certain interested persons who wish to remain anonymous both by law and fears of being put on a hit-list by Scientology operatives e. It potentially will set Tom up for contempt of Court rulings if non-parties and 3rd parties do not comply, which re-enters the territory of more sanctioned legal harassment, a Hubbard sect directive and aberrative social behavior confirmed earlier in the case by expert witness Dr. Stephen Kent. <end> A.B.U.S.E.
