OSA - DIRTY TRICKS AND FOOTBULLETS For sheer stupidity and reactive dramatization, OSA wins the prize.

Actually I'd better take that back because it is a generalization and there are some well intentioned and intelligent people in there who do not follow with blind fanaticsm.

In fact, they have been very nice during this last year.

Until DM went on a rant and demanded my head.

And now it is like the keystone cops bumbling around.

Stupidity exists in the presence of suppression.

Apparantly somebody told him I'd make a better leader for the CofS than him and he got very very upset.

He never bothered to ask me if I felt like running the organization, but just assumed that I was as power hungry as he was. But my goals are towards being a tech finder and goal maker (see Ron's "Essay on Management") rather than giving orders and having people kiss my ass.

Any sensible opponent would have noticed that I've been quiet in recent times and let sleeping dogs lie.

In fact, I ran into case trouble back at the beginning of December, trouble having to do with sex and 2D, and since that is the area that I got into Scientology to solve back in the 1960s, I haven't wanted to talk too much until it is resolved. Those of you who are following my tech writings know about that because I posted a whole lot of stuff on it back in at the start of January (post69.txt in the Pilot archives).

And, as usually happens when one has too much case in restimulation for too long, eventually I got into some real world trouble as well, getting picked up for driving under the influence at the end of January (greatly exaggerated and alter-ised by OSA). If anybody is bothered by that, they should go sit at the feet of some lilly white hipocrite who is preaching sweetness and light. I never promised to be perfect but only to do my best and tell you the stright dope. And the real world gurus are not so sanctimonious. I never criticised Ron for being a two fisted scotch drinker or chain smoking Kools and I don't plan to now, it was one of his warmer humanizing traits. And even Christ used one of his miracles to make wine so that people could get drunk at a party.

And I have made a crack about LA being a ghost town as far as the freezone is concerned. This is a disappointment to me. There was a big and active freezone (called the independent field) here back in the eighties and it has pretty much dispersed to other parts of California to get away from CofS.

DM apparantly took this as a sign of weakness, ignoring the fact that a third of the CofS membership is pro-reform. But those folks are all keeping their heads down and that leaves me feeling quite lonely. I really wish they would stop letting their comm be suppressed and start talking more, but this is how people act on Earth, being afraid to be the first to speak openly. That is how we end up with Hitlers and McCarthys.

So DM threw one of his screaming fits and a few not-so-bright brow-beaten people at OSA began launching footbullets to appease him.

The first foot bullet was what I will call the nattering website with its amazing tale of how the pilot has crash landed, just dripping with venom and prejudice and never once addressing any tech or policy point that I have raised but only screaming about what a bad leader I'd make.

It's just astonishing that there was not one LRH quote or policy reference on that nattering page, but just natter. I quote LRH like crazy on the Scn Reformer's Home Page, and they just ignore LRH and spew out tons of entheta.

And then there was the terrible set of pictures, hacked up intensively with an image editing tool. My best guess is that these originated from a wedding of two Sea Org members that I attended many years ago but it is hard to tell because of the extreme alterations.

They changed the colors in the picture. My hair is reddish-brown, not grey, and my eyes (blacked out in the picture to make me look like I'm asleep or drugged) are blue-grey hazel. They blacked out the mouth too, giving me an impossible expression and added various black spots as if they were warts or something. The only thing that was correct was the wild and untrimmed beard which makes it obvious to me that it is an old picture from when I was comfortable in a 2D and casual about such things (I keep the beard nicely trimmed these days).

And they covered the page with the most restimulative symbols they could think up, anti-radiation symbols and pictures of space aliens and crashed planes and so forth. If anybody felt sick looking at the page, they can thank OSA for trying to push bank buttons.

The page just made them look bad, like a bunch of spitefull bigots, and was taken down within a day.

And as if that wasn't enough stupidity, they then made their next mistake, which was to send one of their agents into my office.

They might have gotten away with it if they had stayed really quiet and subtile, but with Davey screaming at them, they had to produce results.

So they swiped my checkbook on Tuesday, apparantly hoping to find something like big world conspiracy bucks (haha) flowing through my accounts and they even stole the name and address organizer from the desk of my department manager (a really stupid move).

Of course maybe I'm just being paranoid and the spy was planted by some criminal organization or competitor related to my job and had nothing to do with the fight to reform Scn. I am, after all, in a high security environment that handles confidential financial data and is subject, in the normal course of business, to infiltration by ordinary real world criminal elements.

But that fact means that my place of business (I work in financial software) is poised on a hair trigger to catch any such infiltrator, no matter who they are working for. Whether or not it is OSA still remains to be seen, but I know which way I'd bet my money, and we're going to have a lot of fun with this one.

However, their biggest potential footbullet is to be annoying me so that I might start posting again.

I'm reluctant to do that right now because I'm in a bad mood and struggling with tech problems. And I have always been restrained by my sympathy for the hard working and idealist staff and my belief in the tech. I have avoided using heavy artillery, I want the place cleaned up rather than in ruins.

I am on a crusade rather than at war with CofS.

Easter is a time for forgiveness and contemplation of higher spiritual truths. So I'm going to drop all this and put my attention on more theta things.

I advise everyone, especially OSA, to do the same and to try and take on their best aspects instead of their worst.
