Just yesterday I sent a letter to my former field auditor requesting an
accounting and a refund of unused monies. I was polite, and used language I
knew he would understand and relate to. The letter follows:
Dear David:
I am writing to you to request a refund of unused monies on my account. As we are both well aware, scientology is neither a part of my present nor future;
thus, there is no need for these monies to remain on account. I feel I have been extremely fair in allowing this situation to continue for so many years--years in fact prior to my leaving the church. In retrospect, we have actually been out exchange for a number of years. You have often admitted as much yourself in the past.
Please let me know how you would like to handle this situation in order for us to reach a suitable agreement. As I have never received an official declare, I expect we can communicate one on one. I think we would both prefer to communicate directly. My ARC with you remains high; therefore there is no impediment to our resolving this matter with undue burden.
I am confident you will be fair in your accounting of these funds, just as I
have always been fair with you. I doubt I have to remind you that I performed a
lot of work on your behalf without compensation for time, materials, and long
distance calls and faxes. Because that fairness between us has always existed,
I have no reason to believe our mutual respect and ARC has diminished.
When I did not as much as receive a read receipt, I attempted to forward again.
I wrote:
David, I wonder if you received this communication. I have not received a read
receipt, and I thought I would resend the document in the event you did not
receive it.
So, imagine my surprise when I find that my auditor, my former friend, is unable
to confront even an email. This is what I received from AOL.

I am constantly amazed by the inability of these individuals to confront
another. I guess its alright for him to be "out exchange" with an SP wog.
