Hi Shy David, I agree with you. Here's another gem from OCMB posted by a Brit.

Operation Clambake Forum: Opinions & Debate: Why do we ache to see Scientology punished?

I think one reason people keep on trying to bring scientology down is that it is an unexposed lie.
There are worse people in the world than the lawn ornament. We read of serial killers and Osama bin Laden but do not feel we have to rail against them on the internet because there evil is obvious.
Defeating these evils is purely a technical task for the state.
How would we feel if we had knowlage of the Sept 11th attacks before they took place? We would feel the need to warn people and feel huge frustration at being ignored- just as we do over the issue of scientology.
When a serial killer is brought to light they seem pitiful rather than terrifying. This is because they are no longer dangerious. Society needs to lock these people up for the protection of innocent people but the desire to punish tends to diminish.
Scientology is dangerious. It is also not recognised as dangerious. This is why we continue to come back to this message board for years on end.
If both these conditions were to change then nobody would be interested in the cult any more.
