One month after "signing off" this newsgroup, I am compelled to post one more time.
I know from the testimony in the Henson trial that Scientology monitors all posts to this newsgroup.
Two weeks ago I e-mailed letters to several friends declaring my intent to initiate a religious organization for the purpose of providing ministerial counseling and social support services to those fighting abusive or malevolent spiritual teachers. Since that time, my home has been under surveillance. I am of the opinion that Scientology is behind it.
Know this: I am now an ordained minister, and papers have been filed declaring my home the location of said ministry as a legal entity.
I will consider any and all further provocative actions against myself, my family or my residence to be part of a campaign of terror against my ministry, and seek to have such actions prosecuted as HATE CRIMES.
...and make no mistake -- my wife is TERRIFIED. I myself am not "squeamish", yet I feel sufficient threat to have initiated contact with law enforcement. I am documenting all threatening behavior.
Scientology's long and colorful history of criminal behavior as I've seen on the internet and in other media is, IMO, a substantial basis for fear.
I will be forwarding copies of my ordainment papers, documents establising my ministry as a legal entity operating from my residence, and documentation of threatening behavior to the appropriate authorities.
- Rev. Donald A Lindner (formerly known as DaHatter) -- Many have said "Hate the sin, love the sinner".
I say: "Beyond this, understand the nature of sin and the sinner, then seek to educate him as to the folly of his ways in the spirit of love and acceptance".
