I want to share some things that has happened on my road to recovery from the cult of Scientology.

I attribute much of the things that has happened lately to receiving my repayment from the church. It took me a long time to reach the decision to ask for a repayment. I remember how some of you (Merlin!) gave me a hard time on this subject when I started posting at OCMB. But now I join the ranks of those who did it. And I am so happy I did, as brings closure. I can highly recommend it. I got back 20 % of the money I had paid for services over 10 years -and it wasn't just the money on my account. I further more got a notarized statement from the church that ALL my folders have been destroyed.

So yesterday I was able to walk down Vesterbrogade without worrying about running into the herd of Sea Org members on their way from AOSHEU in Jernbanegade to their lunch at Nordland. That was a first. Until now I have planned my trips down Vesterbrogade to hours when I could be pretty sure not to run into anyone from org or AOSHEU.

And the other night I received a call-in-to-an-event from AOSHEU and the conversation was so cool. I used some advise given by Michael Langone to handle the call. Previous I often became upset after a call-in as I usually would end the call by slamming the phone down on the caller. But this time I felt fine. I had talked to the Call-in guy, but I had not compromised myself by getting upset.

AO call-in: I would like to invite you to an event starting 2 o'clock today. Can you be here?

Me: No

AO call-in: Okay, we have the same event on the 17 and 24 of this month. Which date may I sign you up for?

Me: None. I am not a Scientologist.

AO call-in: What?

Me: I am not a Scientologist

AO call-in: But are you not NN?

Me: yes, I am NN and I am not a Scientologist

AO call-in: But are you not a Clear?

ME: I am not a Scientologist anymore.

AO call-in: But don't you want to go up the Bridge and be totally free?

ME: I am not a Scientologist

AO Call-in: But you are clear, don't you want to achieve total freedom?

ME: I am not a Scientologist. What you are saying makes absolutely no sense to a non-scientologist.

AO call-in: You really mean that ????

Me: Yes I mean that. I am not a Scientologist. Have a nice event. Goodbye.

AO call-in: ........... Goodbye.

It was so great to be able to calmly say I AM NOT A SCIENTOLOGIST

And I so enjoyed getting the opportunity to say it over and over again.
