All I can say is thank god (or the deity of your choice - or maybe Al
Gore - LOL) for the internet!
I got snagged by the criminal cult of Scientology and dabbled with them for years, then finally had to suck it up and admit that I'd been brainwashed and wasted incredible amounts of money, time and life force and walk out the door.
I was fine for the last five years, then recently became quite exhausted and seemingly unable to recharge my batteries so to speak.
So, I thought I'd try a little something that has pretty wide acceptance - excercise. BUT, instead of just joining a health spa or whatever, I'm always looking for a 'spiritual' approach towards things I decided to try yoga - Oops!
As UN-luck would have it I discover something I find interesting called 'Dahn Tao', which turns out to be yet another scamming, criminal cult. This one of Korean origin. Yeah baby, Scientology certainly isn't the only criminal, hard sell, soul sucking cult out there. I googled the damn thing and the first hit I got was a site called 'Dahn Tao Institute Visitor Comments'.
Here's a typical comment from one of many unfortunate people who've been scammed by that enterprise already...
"I joined a dahnhak studio in April of this year, but after a few months my inner voice was telling me 'there is something here that does not feel right.' At first I felt like they were genuinely interested in my well being. However, when I canceled a class in Sedona their attitude changed considerably. They have 65 people attending this basic healing and professional course at a price of $10,000.00 each. And they run this 3-4 times a year. I explained that I did not want to attend and sent a certified letter requesting cancellation. But whenever I discussed it, they would take me into this room and somehow mesmerize me and then I would forget everything. I thought there was something wrong, but I had just paid for a year membership and they wanted more money for a meditative hike and chakra training with Grand Master Lee, which I paid for. I also paid $225 for a power brain workshop. I have spent $4,000 in less than a year. I am retired and made bad decisions based upon a need for companionship. Some of the masters who have made a commitment to Master Lee seem sincere. But I just don't want to go any more."
Again, thank god for the internet. I didn't have to drop a dime or any time on that bullshit.
