*Note: Names have been omitted here for a good reason. OSA, you want them, you're gonna have to work for it!
In the year 2001, an unemployed girlfriend of a friend mentioned that she was going to apply for a job. She was attracted by the "Help Wanted"
sign outside the San Diego org, and rather desperate for work. My friend thought she should talk to me first. Since talking to me at length about the cult, he had some valid concerns. After discussing the details of the cult's spurious "job offer," the girlfriend was not only outraged by the cult preying on the unemployed, she wanted to do something to expose them. She decided to apply for the "job," and report back on the experience. After her initial brief contact with the girl behind the desk at the org, she thought it was strange that, as part of the job interview, she would be required to take a Personality Test and IQ test as well as filling out an application. She then played phone tag with the org for a few days. The org was demanding a good three hours of her time, and was adamant about the block of time they would accept. It had to be after 5 pm. Since this would result in difficulty caring for her child in the evening, she kept trying for an earlier slot. The person at the desk became quite familiar with her over the phone.
On one occasion, she stopped by the org on her way to another appointment and requested the application, thinking this would save some time. The girl at the desk said, "We're not supposed to do this but...why don't you take it and fill it out at home?"
She gave the application to me. It contains many questions which are utterly illegal to ask, my favorite being #42: "Have you ever committed felonies for which you weren't caught?" Other questions refer to sexual orientation, and perversion, identity of partners, etc.
I forwarded the application to an agency where it will do the most good.
It is no longer in my possession. :P The desk jockey at the San Diego org knowingly violated policy. It would not surprise me to learn that she is SP, PTS, FOS, FUBAR, and a danger to the security of Scientology. She knowingly released a form which wound up in the hands of a suppressive individual who was not only highly amused by it, but sent it to an entity that would have DM screaming his lungs out if he knew where it went.
The San Diego org's security is so lax, it is a danger to the Mother Ship. Their incompetance in this area is such that I think OSA should pay them a visit and investigate this extensively. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and this serious breach of policy should be dealt with ASAP. Moreover, I should be given free stuff for bringing this situation to your attention! A talking Terl doll would be nice...
This is true,
