http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-badges15mar15,1,4753070.story?coll=la-headlines-california&ctrack=1&cset=true This has so much potential for abuse! L.A. County Sheriff Baca is a tool of Scientology. He attends a lot of high level clam functions, and rode on their float in the Xmas parade!
Los Angeles County officials began an inquiry Tuesday to determine whether Sheriff Lee Baca illegally issued photo identification cards to members of a volunteer group who had contributed to his political campaign.
The Board of Supervisors voted to ask the county's chief administrative officer and county counsel to review whether Baca violated county law by issuing the cards to members of his "Homeland Security Support Unit."
I'm sure Scientology has contributed quite a bit to Baca. LA needs to get this sock puppet sheriff OUTTA THERE!
And so, I wrote...
I have grave concerns about Sheriff Baca. Following the recent article, "Officials Launch Probe of Baca's Use of ID Cards," I think it's very disturbing that he's handing out official-looking photo ID cards to his supporters.
Particularly when those supporters might be members of a destructive cult, which has a 50 year record of disregarding the law.
I am referring to Scientology. I personally have been harassed and libeled by this self-proclaimed "religion." Many of my friends have been the target of Scientology's dirty tricks. As you know, Scientology actively attacks people who have the temerity to protest it's vicious policies and abusive behavior.
The last time I was in Los Angeles, it was to picket on Hollywood Blvd. With the manager's permission, I left my vehicle in a restaurant parking lot. When we returned to retrieve it, it was gone. Someone posing as the restaurant manager called the towing company contracted by the restaurant, met them in the lot, and forged a signature. It cost me $240 to get it back! Since there were no witnesses, we can't claim for certain that the cult was responsible. However, one of their known Private Investigators, Edwin Richardson, kept chasing us around because he had "something important to tell." Was his big news about having my vehicle towed?
This demonstrates the type of ethics practiced by the "most ethical people on the planet."
I hate to think what they'd do with one of Baca's phony Homeland Security Support Unit identification cards!
Baca is a Scientology supporter. He goes to many top-drawer functions hosted by the cult. He even rode on their float in the Hollywood Christmas parade!
This situation has a lot of potential for abuse. Los Angeles does not need a top law enforcement official riding around in the hip pocket of a destructive cult!
Remember that on election day, Los Angeles!
