It's not exactly the truth though, that they are recognized as a religion. This whole shit, comes from the fact that Sweden as of Jan 1, 2000 no longer have a state Church. So, from now on, any idiot cult, can register as a "belief community", as long as they claim that they have services to god, in their churches. Yeah well, that's what we got when we abandoned the state Church. We invited idiot cults, in much the same way as the U.S have done from the very beginning.

Now, I'm going to check with the authorities what lies the criminal cult told, in order to become a registered "belief community", note that it is not a religion, but a "belief community", all according to the new laws that came into effect when the state and the church separated Jan 1 this year. Thanks to the "offentlighetsprincip" (principle of public access) these documents are freely available to anyone.

The main prerequisite for any organization to be allowed to registered as a "belief community" is that they hold services to god in their churches. As far as I know, scientology does not hold any services to god, since they clearly say that the 8th dynamic is up to anyone to define more or less. I have never in my life seen any scientologist pray to god or hold any services to god.

Now, let's find out if they claim any services to god. If they do, I'm sure this can evolve into another nice footbullet, when their right to be registered as a "belief community" is revoked :-) Sten-Arne, Yours in puking at my keyboard over this!
