A private Scientology school in Lucerne, Switzerland, has been closed down completely by the reasons that the school does not have enough credibility and cannot be recommended as an institution of education.

The school was initially closed down by the end of July 2002.

This decision was confirmed by the Federal Court in the beginning of May 2003.

The school's Scientology director had resigned when the city closed it down in 2002, but stayed on as a teacher. With this reconstruction the school tried to reopen it's doors, but failed.

It's true... litigation went on for years. The courts decided again and again and again that scientologists are simply not "reliable" enough because of the cult related cases of criminality. (One case is similar to the one of Raul Lopez, two scientology officials defrauded a mentally handicapped guy and were convicted)

No grant for Luzerner privatschule because of Scientologin

LUZERN - which Luzerner education and culture section (BKD) has the project "Tagesschule im Grünen Littauerberg" (eng. translation "Day school in the Green Littau" used from now on) a refusal given: A disputed Scientologin should have been used as chief executive teacher.

To the association "Day school in the Green Littau" be missing the "trustworthiness for the fulfilment of this public task", justify the education and culture section the published decision.

For the BKD the trustworthiness is not given, because the Scientologin Sandra Planzer should be used as chief executive teacher. Already in June the director of education at that time Ueli Faessler in the large advice had called a clear separation from Scientology sect as condition for the grant.

The "Free Primary School Sandra Planzer" on the Littauerberg had to be closed at the end of of July due to the decision of the Federal court. As a "passive" member of Scientology sect order Planzer not over the necessary confidence worthyness for the guidance of its privatschule, argued the Federal court.

After becoming known the judgement the association "Day school in the Green Littau" at the beginning of of May submitted a request for the guidance of a privatschule on stage kindergarten and Primarschule.

Planzer should be employed as a teacher, not be led however the school.

The BKD expects from the working group a privatschule that the children are protected preventively against an intolerant and with the values of the elementary school incompatible instruction. With the renewed use of Sandra Planzer as chief executive teacher is not given this condition (sda) =====
