I remember while working on staff in scientology, that most of us only had the hope of finding self improvement through scientology. No one could afford the auditing needed to go clear,so we never had much chance to find out if the stuff really worked, and no one was giving away free samples, nothing in scientology was free unless it was designed to get money out of you at a later date.
At times I worked for 75 cents per hour and even less, but I didn't worry to much about the money because we were on our way to the spiritual promise land scientology taught us about.
I must admit, hearing the testimonies from the guys at the top use to really excite me. I mean these guys would tell some incredible stories about how dianetics and scientology converted them to spiritual super men, One of my favorite stories that I found in a scientology magazine called OT was written by a woman who claimed her car broke down, and rather then call a tow truck, she just went exterior from her body, found a broken wire under her car, then used her mind to weld it back together.
Pretty good trick, but it makes me wonder, with all that power to work miracles, why not just fly on a magic carpet, I mean who needs a car when you have such control over matter, energy, space, and time?
Did any of you former scientologists once tell stories as wild as this? How about a confession or two?
I don't want to knock the idea of real miracles, I see then all the time thank God. It's to bad LRH did not think our creator was worthy of addressing in his books.
I suppose it would be a conflict of interest.
