I am so very disappointed and saddened in Tom Cruise's and Scientologies' war on psychiatric medications. They do not understand the scary and horrible world a schizophrenic person lives in without taking their medication.

So, I would like to post this link to a NPR news article which has a simulator of some of what a schizophrenic experience is like. In real life, the experience is terribly frighting, but taking anti-psychotics make the delusions and hallucinations miraculously go way and the meds are a god-send for the victims of this horrible disease of the brain. Otherwise, many victims of this illness commite suicide if they do not get help from medications, doctors, family, and community.

Mr. Tom Cruise, I am sorry to inform you that you have been misled about the facts of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and serious mental illnesses. Please stop this attack on the treatment which is so deparately needed for it's victims. Do not be so irresponsible as to suggest that these people stop taking their medications and relapse back into a hellish world.
