Recently.. the managers at my work did a trial self-study class with a few of our supervisors.. i didnt think anything of it until I heard them quizzing each other.. One of them said a definition and the answer was Potential Trouble Source... Of course, the klaxons started ringing in my head since this is a $cientology buzzword.. so I asked one of them what was the course... it was called Overcoming Lifes Ups and Downs...
I did some research and noticed they sold this course in 2 different ways... one through WISE, and one as a $ci Bridge course.. are there any differences in the two.. and should I be worried if asked to take this course?

It's the exact same course. They sell it as WISE secular desert-wax and Scientology religious floor-topping. Same thing.
Start Cover-Your-Ass documenting *yesterday*! Eventually you'll either have to start down the road to become a Scientologist, or you'll be fired for reasons *completely unrelated* to refusing religious indoctrination as part of the job. Keep records of anything that they could use as an excuse.
If you can move elsewhere, do so ASAP. For fun, just before you give notice, tell them you refuse to take the courses because you're a Xenutarian and it's against your religion.
If you think that the company isn't completely lost and is worth saving, you might want to drop the word that this Hubbard Management stuff is most definitely Scientology in a brown paper wrapper. (See Mike Gomez' WISE pages.) If there's a union, drop word with them too. But keep working on that exit plan.

Not only do I agree with "Ron of that ilk" but you have made no attempt to hide who you are. Scientology monitors this newsgroup on a full time basis and will feed the information that you posted here to the people in the WISE part of the organization who sold the company the study course.
Depending on how deep in the company officials are, you could be fired *today.*
If this infection has just started, warn everyone you can in the company to research the connection of this course to scientology on the net.
You might nip it in the bud. If you can't, get out of the sinking ship.
