I have been watching alot of the TV coverage since the Tsunami hit. I spent 4 months this year in the areas in Thailand that were hit really bad and I own (make that owned) part of a guesthouse on Phi Phi island.
Just now saw a live anchor from a Phucket Relief Centre and there were 5 pasty faced scientology bods milling about, as much use a a chocolate teapot, right in the background. How did I know they were Scientology well they were wearing bright yellow t-shirts and caps with "Volunteer Scientology Minister' emblazoned on them in large letters.
It's funny but in all the coverage I have seen this is the first were any of the volunteers clothing has brought any support organisation to my attention. You would think from that particular broadcast they were in fact running the Phuket Relief Centre.
However on close inspection they were standing around with their luggage, from this and their pasty white faces looks like they just came from the airport and wanted to get to the Relief Centre as quicly as possible to get their publicity photos taken.
It is a shame to think that ontop of all the victims troubles they have to have Scientology take advantage of their distressed situation.
