The answer to why scienos lie is simple. The scienos lie because the scienos follow in the footsteps of their dishonest Founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

An example is in order. It is part of the story of the scienos arrival in Clearwater, Florida. Hubbard, working hand in glove with such Guardian Office future felons as Duke Snyder (not the baseball player) and Henning Heldt, conceived and then instructed the GO in a plan of deceit which later badly backfired.

Hubbard concocted a scheme to represent the Flagship "Apollo" escapees as the "United Churches of Forida"(UCF). Despite the fact that everyone of the people who were represented as the UCF were in fact card-carrying disciples of "Ron", Hubbard instructed the GO to portray the group as an ecuminical group who represented many religions. Elsewhere in scientology, this organization was known as the "Flag Land Base" or just "Flag". A name by which it is still referred. Hubbard even went so far as to create a radio program which was put together at "Flag" which purported to represent the aims of UCF. It was a pure crock of Hubbardian shit.

The deception started falling apart when the Clearwater locals noticed that UCF, portrayed as a religious ecuminical organization, was *very* secretive and would only allow access to the grounds under strictly controlled conditions. UCF also had posted armed guards regularly patrolling the premises. The locals, understandably, became very suspicious.

The last shrouds of Hubbard's deception fell away when he himself, through his own carelessness, was spotted and his presence was reported in the local newspapers. Hubbard fled to California, USA, and became even more strange and reclusive and continued issuing all manner of bizarre dicta which adherants know as scientology.

The Clearwater locals became outraged at the lies that scientology had propagated to their community. Scientology's reaction, through the GO PR bullshit artists (now known as OSA PR), was to start whining disingenuously about religious persecution.

It should also be noted that Hubbard then, as he did up to the point of the FBI raid, worked very closely with the Guardian Office. This relationship is the source of an ongoing series of lies told by the current scieno spokespeople who work in the GO replacement organization known as OSA ( a not so sweet smelling rose by another name). These current set of liars claim that the GO became a rogue organization whose activites were not known by Hubbard or anyone else in scientology. The facts, given above, speak otherwise.

Hubbard was in regular and constant communication with the GO, giving orders and directions. Although I cannot prove it, I suspect that the "handling" for Mike Meisner was suggested by Hubbard himself. (Mike Meisner was the point man for the GO's felonious application of Hubbard's Snow White program. He developed the techniques for falsifying ID's and stealing government documents. Hubbard received copies of these stolen documents.)

Perhaps the upcoming December protest against the scienos crimes in Clearwater can also include as one of its themes, "Scientology, Still Lying After All These Years" or even "Scientology = Dirty Hands".

To reiterate the point of my essay. The reason that scienos lie is because they are following the example of their beloved Founder, the lifelong liar and fabulist, L. Ron Hubbard.
