Well, that's sweet, but you're overlooking one teensy thing so often
overlooked by Scientologists.
It's not about "the religion"
It's about fraud, abuse, DA, Fair Game, and other bogusities found in Hubbard's writings to which the cult adheres to this day.
It's about a group who's actions consistently break the law.
It's about exposing those actions and putting a stop to them.
Believe in Hubbard's drunken fiction if you will, I really don't care.
But when your group starts trying to wail about religious intolerance and bigotry because people protest against illegal acts committed by the cult, you segue into the realm of absurdity.
Even the courts are now beginning to see through the religious defense you whine about. When Hubbard's writings are finally allowed into the court record, that garbage is not going to make an impartial jury take your side.
Fair Game, Dead Agenting, TR-Ls, "disposed of quietly, and without sorrow"...yes, lovely. And Aum Shinryo thought it had the right to release poison gas upon innocent subway patrons. That was very well received by the Japanese people. Old Shoko has been condemned to death.
Scientology would do well to keep that in mind.
When your cult stops breaking the law, I will have no more reason to protest it. It's quite simple, really, but you all seem to have a great deal of trouble understanding the simple concept of cause and effect.
