If all men were guided by rationality, instead of zealous dogmatic ''holy'' law, terrorist attacks like the one on the USA wouldn't happen.

There would be nonsense for charismatic leaders to twist to control their sheep, but without that bogus spiritual element I doubt Hitler could have gotten his Nazis to kill 6 million jews, the Crusades wouldn't have happened, and this shit in NYC and DC wouldn't have happened.

Religion is dragging mankind kicking and screaming away from the next age of enlightenment and back down into the deep, dark trenches of war and chaos. Rationality would have produced an age of plenty with the aid of femtotechnology.

Now, all we as humans have to look forward to is a bunch of righteous assholes chucking bombs back and forth across the oceans until the planet's nothing more than an irradiated Happy Fun Ball.

The most likely scenario for the devastating attacks on the United States today is "religious' or cult fanaticism gone beserk.

The investigations will get to the bottom of it, and will find out which particular cult is somehow behind it all. The middle east is the most likely source. Whether it is the Taliban cult or the cult of Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden or whomever the danger is now made real.

We on ars have been screaming about the dangers of the Scientology cult and its infiltration of the US government, perversion of the Justice system, scamming of individuals in its published quest for total world domination. Huubbard, its guru, gave it that openly stated goal. The goal of Scientology includes taking over the government and workings of the United States of America. Huubard said; "This is our planet, move in!"

Now, hopefully, our protests may be taken more seriously.

Scientology works covertly to achieve its goals, secretly blackmailing here, secretly threatening there, secretly infiltrating the workings of this nation's controlling agencies.

You will not see them flying planes into office buildings or the Pentagon. They work behind the scenes with insidious infiltration. As senator John McCain said today one needs people "on thew ground"

(human intelligence capability) to get proper intelligence data on the MOTIVES and INTENTIONS of such cults. We can provide the US authorities with such intel on this cult (Scientology).

The USA today is in great danger from the Scientology cult's determined and funded effort to take over the country. This is no exaggeration or wild idea.

The apalling and inhuman acts of today's terrorist attacks affect the US nation deeply. The damage is vast, but localised. The awful death toll affects us all.

With regard to Scientology, however, we are talking about a virus that is trying to take over the very fabric of the US nation. Viruses kill the host.
