The cult will NOT manage to take Operation Clambake down, I and many more will see to that, but there is a sad side to this. Interliant can't find anything wrong with what I do, the site I create is legal in the sense that it has not been sued and each time they ask me to remove text and images because of the DMCA I have complied.

I have also paid my bills. Interliant knows this and the cult knows this, but the cult also knows that if they continue to use their lawyers to threaten Interliant then Interliant must use own lawyers to reply - each time. This costs money and of course the little amount they get from me each month will never cover that. And that is the strategy from the cult.

Just pressure the ISP with bogus threats until they finally cave in.

Free speech goes down the drain and the criminal cult wins...

I know Interliant is there to earn money, just like the company I work for and I am not criticizing that. I work to earn money myself. But it is sad that cults like CoS, just because they got the money, can abuse the system so easily. It will mean that Interliant as an ISP will look bad, to them this is a no-win situation.

Hopefully someone one day will add all the pros and cons up and conclude that there is actually more to win and less to loose in the long run by protecting free speech for their own clients and oppose the tricks used by cults and big companies who are only attempting to silence critics.

Maybe they wll see that if it hadn't been for the basic freedom of the web they would not have an arena for their business in the first place.

It is sad we still have to fight for these obvious rights, but I am certain we are stronger than all the egoistic idiots who have no perspective outside their own wallet.

What's especially sad is that since the DMCA, Interliant can in no way be held responsible for www.xenu.net if they merely follow the DMCA rules.

Earlier ISP's needed to show some actual civil rights interest of their own, and many did, recognizing the inherent danger in accepting the job as 'internet censor'.

Ava, Helena and all the other 'cocksucking legal whores' of Scientology have by now filed hundreds if not thousands of DMCA complaints with various servers.

To the best of my knowledge, in not a single instance has such a complaint, when properly filed, properly responded to and properly concluded led to either a final removal of the site or material, or even to a single lawsuit.

Certainly not one against a service provider.

The conclusion is obvious that Church of Scientology DMCA complaints are almost universally fraudulent.

Dear Sirs,
Hello. My name is Tory Bezazian and I live in the United States.

I got in Scientology in 1969 and was literally in it until last June, when I met Andreas who hosts Xenu.net.

At the time when I met Andreas, I was also the ED of the Scientology Parishioners League. Our sole purpose was to harass people like you and get you to do what you are doing: Kick Andreas' site off (or other actions similar to this).Of course we viewed it as "handling the media and any bad PR".

As I am sure they have written you, they feel this is a "Violation of their Religious rights, and is written by Religious Bigots". This is a common plea they offer, yet if you read some of what they write you will see they themselves are some of the most bigotted people you will meet.

The only difference is I woke up after 30 years, and realized Scientology ISN"T a religion, it is a cult.

They chased me across the country once I decided to leave. They have harassed me on the Internet consistently for one year. Not one of my 30-year-old "friends" will talk to me. My husband of 26 years is divorcing me over this. But despite these tragic, cult like activities (certainly NOT religious), I am free and a great part of why I am is because of the information on Xenu.net and Andreas's words to me.

I am sorry for any trouble you have had to take because of these cultists.

They only care about their cult, and the money they need to make. They owe me money, and even though their own policies promise they will give it back to me, now they will not. They stop Scientologists from reading ANY criticism about Scientology. How CAN someone wake up, if they cannot see the information?

But now Andreas' site has gotten out and people are going to it.

It is key that it remains up, and people can get to the truth.

I know it is a burden..but think of the burden men and women have carried as they fought for this very Freedom of Speech.

Thousands have died for this right.

If you have not already done so, please reconsider your decision re www.xenu.net. It is an honor for you to have Andreas' site on your ISP. You are making a difference for thousands of people who are trapped.

Please don't take the easy road..it never leads to as much growth as the harder one.

To the Interliant technical and legal departments You shut off my website www.xenu.net on a very short notice, without previously having canceled my hosting contract in a contractually correct manner and with the appropriate notice time, or for contractually founded reasons. You also repeatedly refused to reply to my letters. As a result, my website was down for over two days and other people had to take emergency measures to arrange alternative hosting, while I was caught in my sleep by your actions while on a weekend vacation.

This is terribly annoying already as it is. Additionally, I find now that I have lost FTP access to my website, and can thus not retrieve my own files from your servers. The cult of Scientology must have managed to scare Interliant a lot for you to take such measures against a paying customer.

In this context I would like to point out that I have been running a cgi-based webboard on my account which was constantly updated with new postings by its users. Thus, all arguments that refer to backups are not applicable and you have effectively hijacked my website and my files.

I hereby demand immediate FTP access to the website, so that I can retrieve my files. Please confirm to me that I can do so, or be prepared to face legal action against you. A press kit is currently being prepared and will be distributed widely if this is not sorted out quickly.
