What is your view on taking prayer out of schools?
gandm gave this response on 5/8/2000:
Seperation of church and state has become the tail that wags the dog. Prayer is one of those knee-jerk responces. Politicians are more concerned about winning elections than positive influence for our children. Judges are more concerned about receiving recognition for radical decisions than the welfare of our children. Taking prayer out of schools is probably one of the significant factors leading towards the school violence we are seeing today. However, we will try everything under the sun to correct the problem, except incourage better morals, which is the only thing that stands a chance of stemming the tide. Prayer in schools would be a significant step towards the solution.
