She claims we were >: friends at Flag (or something). So why can't she be >: straight? She wants me to "handle" Tom for her. It shows >: that she has scieno-think so ingrained into her mind as to >: presume that I am her "junior" and Tom is my "junior". She's >: severly f*cked-up in the head. Rod: >This mind-set comes with the territory when dealing with zonies. They >never claimed to have thrown off the Elron mind-set. Either accept that >or be disapponted. Gee thanks. Can I go now? There's a third choice you haven't bothered to extend to me, Rod. That's for me to point out the existence and workings of the mind-set in no uncertain terms. Much better therapy for them than your 2 choices. >: Maybe you've got too much of a personal relationship with the >: old broad from the "good old days of ars" to see it. But to >: my view she's a double-dealer, a slip-slider, a cross-loader, >: and a hanger-up. Besides that, I don't think she's being >: very straight with us on this improtant matter. She should >: either shut up about it or step forward into the light with >: her information. Otherwise it's an even bet she will be >: tracked down and subpoena'd. It's da law. If she know >: something about a criminal act, she gotta tell. > >Bet she shuts up. We've given her no reason to trust us with more info. Trust us? Jeeze. She's the unknown quantity. It's a good bet she's gonna get deposed. Maybe Vega too. -AB- is missing and some presume he met with foul-play. >What law are you talking about? What crime are we talking about here? Is >Tom going to trial and I don't know about it? Is there a warrant out for >Linda Woolard and I don't know about it? I'm disappointed. Tom is certainly claiming that the law has been broken in an attempt to frame him and get him to drop me from his BBS. You really should follow this story more closely, Rod. The Bloodybutt affair was an attempt to force (blackmail) Tom into cutting off my internet access. Tom didn't. He stood up to the scienos in lots of ways. As a result he was arrested and a false police report was filed against him by Miss Blood. That's a crime. Despite his heart condition, Tom's still here, answering questions. $3000 poorer. -AB- leaked Miss Blood's side of the story and tied the cult to the frame. Penet was raided to distance the cult from -AB-, claiming -AB- got the info by hacking the cult's computer. There were crimes committed (filing false police reports) in connection with the Penet affair. Rod, you seem to think that this is all cute or something. Some philosophical exercize. People's lives are put in danger by exposing the cult. Certainly mine and Tom's life is in jeopardy, and perhaps -AB- and Grady's. I know lots of folks on ars who are taking extra security percautions because of the battle with the cult. These people are *threatened.* You seem to think there's no actual danger involved in being deprived of data about the criminal acts your mortal enemy has taken against you. To me, it's a weak and shallow stand. Old Tumor's unwillingness to be honest places people in harms way. It's no minor thing. Will someone have to die in order for you to take the danger seriously, Rod? +--------------------------------------+ Rev.
