Every subpoena for deposition I have gotten was issued to me by a private lawyer, filed with a court, but never signed by a judge. Lawyers have the power to pull you into deposition or court in any case they have open, simply by asserting that you have information about the case, and serving you with notice to appear. +--------------------------------------+ Rev.
