    Understood, but then you better bow out of the 
    "investigation" if you can't or won't be contacted by the 
    authorities.  Turn the information over to someone who will 
    be able to work with the police or feds.  You obviously have 
    disqualified yourself from being an active participant in the
    public (and potentially official law-enforcement)
    investigation.                                               
    
    No wonder Tumor chose you.  You won't be able to work with 
    law enforcement and maintain anonymity.
