Your response it laden with irony, Andrew. Especially > considering that both Kane and Brinkima have already ruled > that no copyright infringement has occured in Wollersheim, > Lerma *or* Washington Post. The writ of seizure >was vacated and some Co$ motions were thrown out, but the infringement >question was left for later. It was ruled within the bounds of fair use, if I am not mistaken. >I think you're being too hard on Greenberg, FWIW. He is a cult >member, but it is the cult of intellectual property rather than the >cult of scientology. He really believes the stuff he's saying. Just as the scienos do. His points of view on these cases and methods of argument are indistinguishable from those of the scienos, AFAIAC. I'm not about to let him spin the discussion into the very area he claims is our weakest defense. This is a free speech issue. Not copyrights. And I don't take insults and inuendos lightly. I have been subjected to enough of it at the hands of the scienos that I make sure to fling back each new attempt to belittle me in such a way as to let the person know I won't take it lying down. Thanks for the thoughts. +--------------------------------------+ Rev. Dennis L Erlich * * the inFormer * * dennis.l.erlich@support.com + inForm@primenet.com "tar baby"
