    I thought for years that he'd died in the early 80s (82) and 
    had been put on ice til the poodle got his powerbase secure. 
    Then he was thawed out.   He was certainly dead in the head 
    from '78 (the release of NOTs) on.
    
    Vaughn told me he'd seen the Phattard later than that and 
    despite being clearly out of it, Tubbo was still alive.
    
    I like my version better though.
