Diane is not involved with >FACTNET, nor is she involved in any litigation or confrontation >with OSA. To my knowledge, she has never been a member of the >Church of Scientology; yet she is quick to pass judgement on >those who were, using very caustic language. But I have no >objection to that as I think a broad spectrum of different views >brings new insights into ourselves and others. I've always held >Diane in high regard for the great research data she has posted >in this forum. And I hope she will continue in that regard. Joe, let me give you a clue. Diane doesn't consider the Kimmy incident as "a spiritual matter" as you, and perhaps I, do. She just sees it as low-down deception and treachery against people who don't deserve more mistreatment: namely you and I. > Perhaps Diane is upset that I choose not to castigate Kim for >her apparent instablility and the affixing of her signature to >the ridiculous "affidavit" the OSA thugs drafted. Don't discount or downplay the importance of what Kim has done. It does *her* a disservice to do so. > Maybe Diane's personal philosophy is to only love and care >about those who have never hurt, disappointed, or betrayed you? >Well that would be a pretty easy task as its quite easy to find >plenty of faults in others, and reasons not to like them. But if >I went along with that reasoning, I don't think I'd have any >friends left. S'not what Diane's doin'. She's simply pointing out what she thinks of people who betray their friends in a good cause, in order to support oppression of the weak and uninformed. > About 2000 years ago a radical Jewish reformer told his >supporters to love their enemies, and pray for them. To a >hard-core cynic like Diane, that too would be an absurdity. But >as simplistic as that appears, I think that fellow was pretty >wise, and I've found this approach to be a source of inner >strength and peace in my life. I love Diane too, and its a >source of personal joy for me that I have no room in my heart for >hatred. Ugly stuff, Joe. I'm surprised at you. Diane doesn't hate Kim. She hates what Kim has done and who Kim has let herself become. The above shows a limit to the progress you have made in breaking away, in your mind, from the cult. You bought *their* line. Look what you wrote: hatred is being spread on internet. Snot true. >Joe And one more word of advice, Joe ... ditch the full justification. I was inFormed by a reliable source that there are those that suffer from a hypnotic condition from the wierd spacing of the words when fully justified on a crt. They get headaches and sh*t from the patterns of the blank spots on the screen. I forget the medical name of the condition. Someone had told me last year. Be well, my friend. +--------------------------------------+ Rev. Dennis L Erlich * * the inFormer * * dennis.l.erlich@support.com + inForm@primenet.com "tar baby"
