Faithful Reader,

Some of your fellow arsers have expressed nostalgia for a former
scieno-apologist, who used to post here in 1994 and earlier:
Tony Austin.

Austin announced when I arrived in Jul of '94 that he was going
to make me his personal project.  He presence, his criticism of 
my style and his allegations that I was trying to get onto the 
talkshow circuit, have all faded away.

Suddenly, when I make the following comment, I receive an
anonymous criticism of my sentence structure (which I admit at
times is more than tortured):

    Oh, btw, did I mention that he is Kim's cousin?  He probably
    knows all about Kim's bogus conversion.  You might ring him
    up and ask what he'd like to share about it, if Kim won't
    answer up.
