   That's correct.  She had announced that she was leaving, they knew
it, and they knew they had to get her back into isolation quickly, or
perhaps lose control of a key player in their local money laundering
operation.  That's my guess.

   Her defection could have caused a major "Hill-10."  Instead they
had to hide her away from her family and those who would have helped
her escape.  They killed her, and delivered her body to one of their
own, so what they had done could be hidden.  Then they covered up,
lied and accused others of bigotry, because folks were outraged at
what had been done to Lisa.

   The mess they created with all their lies simply will not "as-is"
properly.

   Tsk, tsk.
