A place in Mexico where I can buy inexpensive medications that are prescription. toddskarvold@yahoo.com

Has a psychiatrist recomended medication for you? Have you discussed your desire to medicate yourself with a physician?
If both answers are "Yes," then:
Many farmacias in Mexico sell below-standard drugs. Be sure to check the expiration date on what ever you buy--- not just on the box, but inside if possible. Many "blister packs" have dates stamped on them, as well as dates printed on the container.
Park on the USA side of the border and walk across. Go up the bridge walk way and down. 100 yards from the border is a farmacia. If you do not like the "look" of the place (trust-wise), just keep walking. You will find several other places.
The best pharmacy I have found in Mexico is at Mexicali, south of El Centro. The staff there are very knowledgable; their drugs are up-to-date, and they are a short (walking) distance from the border. I went there to get my prescription filled because their prices were substancially lower than in the USA. 50 capsules of 500mg Amoxicillin was US$10.50 and 100 capsules of 250mg Ampicillin was $10.20 (I am a boat delivery skipper now and then, and I am off-shore for long periods of time so I need anti-biotics).
20 tablets of 20mg Paxil was 353.50 pesos, or about US$31.00
If you have NOT been prescribed medication by a psychiatrist, please reconsider going to Mexico and buying drugs until you do so.
