does antidepreesant drugs cause side effects as nervesness and depression?

NOTE: I am NOT a doctor!
One of the side effects observed by a portion of patients who take an anti-depressant is "nervousness." This is due in part to the effect of norpinephrine (which occurs naturally in a person's body) which some anti-depressants allow to work more effectively. Norpinephrine is related to histamine. If you have ever taken too much cold or allergy remedy medicine and felt "jittery," that is why.
The side effect is "normal" and generally goes away naturally. If it does not, talk to your psychiatrist and ask about taking a different anti-depressant.
