I'm being treated for depression with celexa (citalopram). I have been taking augmentin for bronchitis and had also done some over-the-counter sudafed and Afrin for congestion. Also, I have been stealing my daughter's ritalin, grinding it up, and snorting it. Last week I had a few angry outbursts. Could the interaction of these drug have resulted in the anger or does celexa have those side effects alone? I'm on 20 mg.

I'm sorry - but I have no medical degree to give you a 100% accurate answer to your question. But....I can perhaps give you my opinion? I don't know about the side effects celexa, but I do know that if you are snorting ritalin, that there is a GREAT chance, that yes, your anger could have been due to that. I have a friend who's son was on Ritalin from the time he was a young boy, and as he grew older, he started to abuse it, possibly as well as other drugs. He started snorting it. He is now very messed up mentally. He gets in fights very, very easily, has "temper tantrums" out of nowhere, and hallucinates regularly.
It sounds like you are mixing a bunch of different over the counter narcotics as well as someone else's prescription. Perhaps it would be wise to discuss the possible harm you are doing to your brain and body with your family doctor? Or if you aren't comfortable in getting honest with your family doctor - perhaps going to a clinic doctor to talk to him? I think you are doing some serious damage to your brain/body by mixing different narcotics like that!
If you need to talk about anything else -feel free to ask!
