Here's a thought experiment for you. I believe it was originated by 
Jay Stein, we like to call it the Flaming Fertility Clinic scenario.

You are walking down the street, when you notice smoke pouring out 
of a nearby building. You notice that the sign on the front of the 
building says "FERTILITY CLINIC". You, being the brave and gallant 
person that you are, rush in to help. Once inside, you look quickly 
around. On a table you see a large tray labeled "100 fertilized 
human ova". In a corner, a doctor lays screaming with a collapsed 
beam across the doctor's legs. The roof is about to collapse, and 
you only have the resources to save the doctor or the tray. Which do 
you save?
