I would like to call your attention to the following that was posted to the Usenet newsgroup "alt.religion.scientology" Monday, August 16, 1999. Many of the people who participate in this forum are ex-members of the defendants, the alleged "Church" of Scientology, which uses its "charitable" tax exempt "donations" to finance litigation such as this.

Judge Alexander Williams III issued an order that all further filings by Graham Berry in the Cipriano matter be sealed and prohibiting Graham from dissemination anything else. Judge Wlliams, who usually holds his ex parte hearings at 9:30 a.m., after his calendar, and sometimes not until 10:00 a.m. heard Scientology counsel at precisely 8:30 a.m. while Graham Berry stood in line at the court clerk's office.

Judge Alexander's wife - has a contract to do translation services for a company called Bridge Publications.

Scott Mayer confirmed that this is THE Scientology Bridge Publications.

That means that the 1000 pages of evidence graham has to back up the Cipriano case has been sealed! Said the Cipriano declaration and stuff on the web have not been sealed but all future filings have been ordered to be filed under seal.

Judge Williams previous Court Clerk is employed at the same firm as Rosen, the Scientology Attorney.

The Judge also told the Scientologists to file a motion for sanctions on Graham Berry!

Something smells very very bad here....

It appears that there is a conflict of interest in this particular case, considering the judge's wife is contracted by "Bridge Publications," who publish ALL of the books for the defendants, the "Church" of Scientology, plus his previous clerk was also employed by these same defendants, and it would appear that the judge is granting special privileges to the defendants by holding ex parte hearings at least one hour earlier than he typically would.
