On Thursday, I ran into Graham Berry's former law partner, Stephen Lewis, at the
West Hollywood Starbucks. Mr. Lewis, who is now at employee of the City of West
Hollywood, and I, would often run into each other at Starbucks and exchange
greetings. In the last few weeks I saw Stephen , however, I sensed some
resentment towards me so I made it a point on Thursday to ask him about it.
Stephen informed me that he was quite upset about my posting a conversation he had had with me earlier regarding rumors of Graham's illicit drug use, and that I had, in fact, posted on ARS, that Stephen claimed Graham was using cocaine. I, do not however, recall ever posting this and I told Stephen so.
Stephen, however, was admanant that I had posted the gist of our earlier conversation, claiming that he said Graham was using and/or was addicted to cocaine and that I posted this under my old PacBell account last month. Funny thing is that I have had AOL for several months now and could not have posted under my PacBell account. I have also searched far and wide on DejaNews and can not find any such post.
Stephen said he accessed ARS and read the post after receiving word from another source. Graham and I have long believed this source to be Rick Moxon whom Stephen had allegedly been in contact with before and after Stephen and his significant other (and fellow law firm associate) Chris Scali quit the law partnership with Graham. Graham informed me prior to the disolution of their partnership that Stephen had spoken to Rick Moxon and inquired as to whether he might be able to work for Mr. Moxon. This never happened and Stephen & Chris went on to establish their own law firm for a short time before they went their separate ways professionally and found jobs in other firms.
Let it be said that in the various conversations I have had with Stephen Lewis, I was informed of things which I found very suspect and strongly believed came from Scientology sources. I have no personal knowledge of Graham ever using cocaine or any other narcotics. The ONLY person that I KNOW has accused Graham of using cocaine is Scientology's chief P.I. and Village Idiot, Eugene Ingram. But then, Eugene has had a real problem with telling the truth since shooting himself in the arm with a gun in order to attempt collecting a work-related disability with the LAPD.
Mr. Lewis is convinced that I posted the gist of his conversation with me last month and said, as a result, he would no longer discuss anything with me, having to do with Graham, which is just fine with me since I've heard it all before anyway from the OSA legal whores.
