Hey!!! Wasn't Heber GREAT on Public Eye with Bryant Gumbal (anyone see it?). He'd be the first on my list if I ever needed someone to defend me! WOW what a great guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of that, it is well known by my family and close friends that there are two things that I would never, never, never want to have happen if I were ever incapacitated.
(1) is to have my body put on "life support" if I'm GONE. And (2) is to be taken to a psych institute! Heber was SPOT ON in his viewpoint on psychiatry and why NO Scientologist would ever, ever want to be taken to a psych. He certainly spoke for me.
Right on Lizzyann!! Heber spoke for me too. I know I can count on my Scientologist friends to ensure that my rights are honored. I would never, ever, ever want to be taken to a psych no matter the circumstances! - Bibidyboo
Hello LizzyAnn,
Ditto on Heber's spot on Public Eye. From what I hear on the street, his discussion of psychiatric crime created a lot of impact and for many is the most memorable part of the show.

Hi Lizzy!!!! Ditto from me too. Heber was great. One day they'll realize what the psychs have been up to. The decline of education, increase in crime, dwindling morals, rise in drug use. Sheesh!!!
And there's no way I want to be kept on life support, or worse yet, turned over to a psych!!! Eeeks, slimy. Abeing
Chapparel2, you said <<Ditto on Heber's spot on Public Eye. From what I hear on the street, his discussion of psychiatric crime created a lot of impact and for many is the most memorable part of the show.>>
Absolutely true, and I've heard the same from all of my Scientology friends and non-Scientology friends alike.
The first time - 30 years ago - that I ever heard psychiatry was harmful...sure...it shook my previous stable datums (not that I knew one darn *real* thing about psychiatry). Heber was not attempting to just be "nice" or diplomatic (and agree but not say anything) with Gumbal. He was speaking from his heart (and the heart of every single Scientologist) about the actual and proven danger of psychiatric procedures, and why none of us, including Lisa, would ever agree to it's use. This is extremely well known in the Scientology community. As I say, Heber was not attempting to be "sweetness and light" - he was being utterly and boldly truthful. If it shook up some stable datums out there in TV-land - then so be it - <g> as that is the first step to becoming enlightened on the subject.
We missed you !!!!
HEBER was totally brilliant on the show. he controlled the comm cycle. He had rightful anger AT psychiatry, a fraudulent profession who's certs are not worth the paper it is written on.
Heber is and always will be a Scientology Hero. Heber's performance was loved by the Scientology community.
Only the Internet psychos babbling on ARS disliked him. of course a psycho would have a different viewpoint. Their ONLY Intention is to harm and destroy ...
Hmmmmmm....what a wondrous thing to behold........raw FPRD cases....

It created a huge impact. As it should. Social reform has to do with "change". And "change" is not the easiest thing for some people to experience, is it? A brief view of history acknowledges this.
Like blood-letting for headaches and throwing virgins into volcanoes to eradicate tribal demons in the past, today's ECT, the old "pick" lobotomies, the new chemical lobotomies, and pychotropic drugs, have been to some extent and will be fully eliminated. It's a fact. Education is the best answer to bring about understanding.
Thanks to Heber for launching more information over the airwaves on the Gumbal show! Heber does not propitiate to media. And he is a hero in my book.
